Anna I am so sorry

Anna i am so sorry our internet was down and then our power was outi tried so hard and i almost cried and now i am crying because i feel terrible i feel like i ditched yall and i didnt mean to i had a dream  about our small group and me being at 24seven and it was wacko and then i hada dream i got to go on the barnclarkin trip in october i am so sad its our first time and i dont get to go i cant even explain how i am feeling once again im sry and i hope we can skype another time i love you

My first day

My first day of home school was wonderful but a little long only because I had to figure it out. I dont have much to say so ya.

My friend Tikah's disaster

My friend Tikah is a Bahamian and is a very nice girl. She stayed in a purple house with 8 people. Today living in that house came to an end. She went to school and when she came home she found out that her house had gone up in flames because of an electricity problem. Everyone was ok and she seemed fine emotionally. The way Bahamian's respond to disasters is way different then Americans the Bahamian's are very calm and don't care and are happy to be alive another day, and Americans flip out. But the good thing of the disaster is that Tikah and i are now good friends. The last time I came I went to school here and was friends with her and now we are reunited after 6 years. The other good thing is that those ate people have a place to stay tonight although it maybey a very small room they appreciate to be alive.

My feast in the dark

Today we were going to have a big feast of fish, because yesterday we caught allot of fish spear fishing. So we were out at the beach and then came home to find the power out so we cooked on a charcoal grille and a gas stove. Then it got dark while we were cooking and so we were cooking while we were holding flash lights. Well then we finally got done cooking the power still wasn't on so we ate with candle light and flash lights. It was a wonderful dinner with fish lobster and crab it was very good. It was good but in the dark for three hours and no fans no air no generator. But it all turned out ok in the end because the power is back on.

my visit with the sharks

Today I went snorkeling with my family and our friends. It was really cool my dad and our friend mr chuck were shooting fish left and right. I know you are thinking shouting fish what, but what I really mean is my dad has spearguns that he shoots fish with a spear. So anyways they were shooting fish my mom our friend mrs windey and I were spotting fish for them and just looking at all the pretty stuff. I decided to go by mr chuck he was shooting fish so I just wanted to see that,all of a sudden a big five foot nurse shark a foot away from me comes out of know where and is stalking mr chuck and I. This shark is staring at us and i'm screaming "shark" and then mr chuck turns around the shark see's the spear adn swims away. So i'm a little shocked but I keep going then my mom says there is a little shark a little farther over and then I see it a seven foot reef shark circlinga cage with an angel fish trapped inside the cage. We went on farther and it started getting rough and my mom told me we had to go back and get out that way, and I start crying scared. We went back that way no more sharks but many blisters. When we got home i thought man that was cool but then mr chuck told me nurse sharks have teeth and plus now im thinking what could have happend. Now i'm second guessing going snorkeling tomorrow.

Learning Sign Language

Its a bummer u can't be here Lydia! But i know that you're in the place that God want you to be right now. But anywho, so far I've just been startin to learn some sign language, just the basics though. So hopefully when I can go down to the bahamas with Lydia (maybe this November woohoo!) My time in the US

Hey I am a missionary in the Bahamas. I recently visited my hometown Greenville,SC. I visited because my family had to go move my sister Bess into college. Her college, Anderson University,is so nice and she has a really cute dorm. Once we got her moved in, my dad left for the Bahamas. He left for the Bahamas because he manages mission teams, and there was a team coming. My mom and I stayed for a month, so my sister could get settled into college. While we were in Greenville,we saw my other sister Megan and her husband Mike. We also saw my brother Nathan. I also got to see my best friend Anna and her family. I always love seeing them. My mom and I ran alot of errands while we were there. Then we had to say goodbye.
